2024 Democratic National Convention: Everything You Need to Know

The 2024 Democratic National Convention (DNC) begins today in Chicago and will run through Thursday, with Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, slated to speak. The event was preceded by the Republican National Convention last month, where Former President Trump and his VP pick, JD Vance, accepted their nominations.

Unlike traditional DNC conventions, the roll-call vote to select the party nominee was conducted early online, with Harris and Walz being officially nominated.
