Texas: Powering Towards the Future

Texas is booming, with an influx of people and businesses, but can the state keep up with energy demands?

"We want all the remaining Bitcoin to be MADE IN THE USA!!! It will help us be ENERGY DOMINANT!!!” – President Trump, on Truth Social

By 2030, Texas' energy needs are set to soar, with a projected demand of 150 gigawatts, nearly double the current requirement. This spike is driven largely by the growing crypto-mining, data center, and AI industries. To keep pace, Texas must strengthen its energy infrastructure.

A Free-Market Approach

Texas has the resources to be a leader in renewable energy, but it shouldn't turn its back on reliable natural gas or the potential of nuclear power. Embracing a free-market approach, Texas can:

  • Fight against federal overreach and the Biden administration's "Inflation Reduction Act"
  • Avoid picking winners and losers, and instead, provide a level playing field for all energy sources
  • Foster a competitive environment, driving progress and prosperity

Texas' Bright Future

Texas has the potential to lead the nation in economic and technological advancement. By sticking to free-market principles, reducing red tape, and encouraging a competitive energy market, the state can sustain its growth and remain an attractive prospect for newcomers.
