2024 US Presidential Election: Harris vs. Trump?

The 2024 United States Presidential Election campaign kicks into high gear with Vice President Kamala Harris now the Democratic nominee, after President Joe Biden stepped aside. The Republican nominee, Former President Donald Trump, is eager for debates, but will Harris agree to more than the scheduled two?

World News Tonight anchor David Muir and ABC News Live Prime anchor Linsey Davis will moderate the debate, according to ABC News.

The Schedule:

• Sept. 10, 8 p.m. CT: Second Presidential Debate hosted by ABC News in Philadelphia.
• Sept. 16: Early voting begins in Pennsylvania.
• Sept. 17, 24, Oct. 1 or 8: CBS News-invited VP debate between Gov. Tim Walz and Sen. JD Vance. Walz accepted Oct. 1.
• Dec. 17: Electors vote.
• Jan. 6, 2025: Congress counts electoral votes.
• Jan. 20, 2025: Inauguration Day.
