Starbucks & Dunkin' to Debut Fall Menus Soon, Despite the Heat

It's sweltering in Central Texas, but Starbucks and Dunkin' are forging ahead with their fall menus. For many, autumn equals Pumpkin Spice Latte season, and the highly-anticipated launch of fall flavors is imminent.

Starbucks:

Starbucks typically launches its Pumpkin Spice Latte in late August. Last year, it was August 23. A leaked menu, posted by food influencer Markie Devo [https://www.instagram.com/p/C9-vpsFyrUe/], suggests some new drinks and the return of classics as early as Thursday, Aug 22 [https://www.timeout.com/usa/news/when-is-starbucks-releasing-their-fall-drinks-menu-for-2024-the-full-list-of-new-and-returning-favorites-081524]. This date was also confirmed by a Virginia Starbucks employee.

Starbucks has not announced an official date, but the leak claims the menu includes:

• Return of hot, iced, and Frappuccino PSL options, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, and fall food items.
• New: Iced Apple Crisp Cream Chai (nondairy), Raccoon Cake Pop, and Mummy Cookie (Aug 22).
• Iced Pecan Crunch Latte with Oat Milk and Salted Pecan Cream Cold Foam (Sept 19).

Dunkin':

Also tight-lipped about an official launch, but traditionally offering fall drinks earlier than Starbucks. Last year, it was Aug 16.

What's in a Pumpkin Spice Latte?

Starbucks' PSL includes steamed 2% milk (or alternative), pumpkin spice sauce (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg), brewed espresso, whipped cream, and vanilla syrup. Available hot, iced, or Frappuccino.

Fall Flavors:

Despite the weather, it appears fall flavors are coming early this year, with both Starbucks and Dunkin' almost ready to satisfy our pumpkin spice cravings.
