2024 DNC: Biden Passes Torch to Harris, Day 3 Schedule & Speakers

The Democratic National Convention (DNC) began Monday with President Joe Biden officially endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate for the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election, alongside running mate Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota.

Biden, 81, ended his reelection campaign last month, leading to a shift in polls as women and younger voters pushed Harris slightly ahead of Former President Donald Trump.

Day 2 of the DNC featured speeches from former President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Doug Emhoff, and Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker.
