Fun Run Returns to Austin, December 7

Austin Trail of Lights celebrates 60 years: registration now open for December Fun Run.

The #AustinTrailOfLights is back for its #60th anniversary. #ZilkerPark will once again be lit up from #Dec10 to #Dec23, with a fun-filled program to kickstart the #holidayseason.

“Chuy's is excited to enter our third year as Title Sponsor of the Austin Trail of Lights Fun Run. [...] Our goal is to collect as many toys and monetary donations as we can for Operation Blue Santa through our sponsorship,” said Ashley Ingle, Chuy's Chief Marketing Officer.

The festivities begin with a "Fun Run," a two-mile course through the iconic #ZilkerHolidayTree and #ZilkerPark, decorated for the holidays. #Chuy's presents the "Children Giving to #ChildrenToyDrive." Bring a new, unwrapped toy or donate online to support Operation Blue Santa.

The run includes perks like a #longsleeved shirt, a #2024RaceBib, and #freebies. All participants can enjoy the Finish Line Festival with rides, food, drinks, and DJ entertainment.

The #Austin tradition continues with a full schedule of events, including the #STARS program, Night Lights Preview, and Grand Opening. #GeneralAdmission is free for half the nights, with #freeentry for kids under 12 and shuttle riders.
