Fatal Bicycle Crash on FM 2338 Near Andice Prompts Call for Witnesses

Williamson County sheriff's deputies are seeking witnesses to a fatal bicycle crash that occurred on FM 2338 near Andice on Saturday morning.

Emergency personnel responded to the 11000 block of FM 2338 for an injured bicyclist on the side of the road. A 79-year-old man was taken to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, officials confirmed. The crash happened between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., officials stated.

Andice is located about 40 miles north of Austin.

The sheriff’s office is asking for assistance from anyone with information on the cause of the bicycle crash. Individuals who traveled in the area at the time and have a vehicle equipped with a camera system are urged to check their recordings for any potential evidence.
