2024 Democratic National Convention Draws to a Close

The 2024 Democratic National Convention (DNC) concludes Thursday, following exceptional speeches on Wednesday from notable figures such as former President Bill Clinton and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who officially accepted the vice presidential nomination.

Walz highlighted his image as an everyman, sharing his experiences as a high school teacher and coach. He also emphasized his accomplishments as governor, including cutting prescription drug costs, implementing free school lunches, defending abortion rights, and enacting firearm regulations.

Other notable speakers from Wednesday include Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Oprah Winfrey.

DNC Day 4: What to Expect

Thursday marks the final day of the DNC. The official speaker schedule for Day 4 has not been released yet, but this article will be updated as soon as it becomes available.

  • North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper
  • Former Illinois Republican U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger
  • Wisconsin Sen. Tammy Baldwin
  • California Sen. Alex Padilla
  • Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren
  • Former Secretary of Defense & former CIA Director Leon Panetta, along with a number of veterans
  • Former Rep. Gabby Giffords
  • Rep. Lucy McBath
  • Tennessee State Reps. Gloria Johnson, Justin Jones and Justin Pearson, known as the "Tennessee Three"
  • Massachusetts U.S. Rep. Katherine Clark
  • Colorado U.S. Rep. Joe Neguse
  • Florida U.S. Rep. Maxwell Frost

Kamala Harris is expected to accept the Democratic Party's presidential nomination on Thursday night as the headline speaker.

How to Watch and Stream the 2024 DNC

The convention will air live on its official website, from the United Center in Chicago between 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET (6 p.m. to 10 p.m. CT) Tuesday through Thursday.

USA TODAY will provide livestream coverage on YouTube each night of the DNC, Monday through Thursday.
