Child Fatality Reported Due to Possible Drowning in Pflugerville

A child has died following a possible drowning incident at a Pflugerville apartment complex swimming pool on Saturday morning, according to the Pflugerville Police Department.

At around 8:30 a.m., police responded to a call reporting a possible drowning of a child at an apartment complex located at 1010 S. Heatherwilde Blvd.. Upon arrival, a bystander was performing life-saving measures, which were then taken over by emergency personnel.

The child was transported to St. David's North Austin Medical Center and pronounced deceased.

Police have no additional information at this time.
