137,000 Popsicles Recalled Due to Allergic Reactions
Unilever has recalled approximately 137,000 cases of its Popsicle Jolly Rancher Frozen Confection pops following reports of allergic reactions. The recall, issued on Aug. 21, is due to concerns that the product may contain undeclared milk, posing a serious risk to individuals with severe milk sensitivities.
The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has reported two cases of allergic reactions linked to the popsicles. No other Unilever products are affected by this recall.
The recalled popsicles are single-serving items typically sold through ice cream trucks, concession stands, and grab-and-go freezers throughout the United States. This recall does not include Jolly Rancher-flavored popsicles sold in multi-pack products at grocery stores and retailers nationwide.
