Desnudo Coffee Expands to Downtown Austin

Coffee enthusiasts now have a new option to skirt the lengthy queues at the East Austin location of Desnudo Coffee. Juan and Sergio Trujillo have opened a second coffee truck downtown, pledging the same quality and values as their original setup.

The new trailer is stationed at Fareground (111 Congress Ave.) in front of Ellis and will serve downtown patrons from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Desnudo Coffee began in 2021 as a farmer’s market vendor, securing its first semi-permanent spot in 2022 at Webberville Park in East Austin. The new downtown location will operate until December.

The brothers shared their excitement in a social media post: “It feels like we are living the dream, thinking about all the magic that can happen at this place. We promise we’ll try our best to provide a space where everyone can feel at home.”

The Colombian duo launched the business with a mission to support coffee farmers in their home country, a goal that remains steadfast as they expand.
