With the 2024 US Presidential Election less than five weeks away and early voting already underway in some states, ensure you're registered to vote in the race between Democratic candidate Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican candidate former President Donald Trump.

How to Register to Vote in the US
Online Registration
- Visit Vote.gov.
- Select your state and proceed to the state’s registration website.
- Input your information to register, update, or confirm your registration status.
Mail Registration
- Download the National Mail Voter Registration Form.
- Fill it out and print, or print a blank form and fill it out by hand.
- Mail the completed form to the location listed for your state.
In-Person Registration
- Department of Motor Vehicles office.
- Armed forces recruitment center.
- County public assistance offices like SNAP/food stamps.
Changing Voter Registration
Your voter registration card includes:
- Name
- Home address
- Polling station address
- Party affiliation
In Texas, update your mailing address online with the Texas Secretary of State’s office: txapps.texas.gov/tolapp/sos/SOSACManager before Oct. 7.
