Headed to Austin City Limits Music Festival? Expect Road Closures

Austin City Limits (ACL) Music Festival kicks off this weekend, running Oct. 4-6 and Oct. 11-13 at Zilker Park (2100 Barton Springs Road). Gates open at noon on Fridays and 11 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with music starting at 12:55 p.m. on Fridays and noon on weekends.

Heavy traffic and street closures are anticipated.

Road Closures

According to Austin Parks and Recreation, the following roads will be closed during festival events:

• Stratford Drive
• Barton Springs Road
• Azie Morton Road
• Northbound Mopac Access Road
• Other areas throughout both ACL weekends

Shuttle access will be available along MoPac from 11 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on festival days.

Festival Entrances

• Barton Springs Road: Two entrances – west near Andrew Zilker Road and east near Azie Morton Road.
• Stratford Drive: Lady Bird entrance, close to Loop 1 (MoPac Boulevard).
• Azie Morton Road: Likely the most crowded entrance.
