Dua Lipa Shares Drink Recipe at La Barbecue, Goes Viral

Dua Lipa was spotted at La Barbecue sharing her unique drink recipe in a viral video. She mixed Diet Coke with pickle juice and jalapeño juice, sparking a social media frenzy. Even celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey reacted with a TikTok video, warning her about the potential harm to her vocal cords.

La Barbecue owner Ali Clem praised Dua Lipa's kindness and mentioned her group's family-style order, including brisket, pork ribs, sausages, and sides. "Picking sides were big for them," Clem told Eater Austin.

Before her Saturday performance, Dua Lipa dined at Mexican seafood restaurant Este, recognized by Eater Austin. Chef de cuisine Ale Kuri said Dua Lipa's group was "so nice" and highlighted her love for camarones "El Ricas." They also enjoyed tuna tiradito, shrimp aguachiles, ceviches, and pescado zarandeado.

Este's executive chef Fermin Nuñez might even update the menu description following Dua Lipa's compliment.

Post-performance, Dua Lipa visited the iconic honky-tonk Broken Spoke, sharing moments on social media with the caption "HONKY TONK HEAVEN." She was seen two-stepping and singing Josh Turner's "Your Man" with friends.
