ACL Fest: Crime Central or Music Haven? You Decide!

Buckle up, folks! The first weekend of Austin City Limits Music Festival was a wild ride for the Austin Police Department. They nabbed two troublemakers, jotted down 70 offense reports, and fielded 225 calls at Zilker Park. Talk about a busy weekend! 📞🚔

Out of all those reports, a whopping 42 out of 44 were for stolen phones. Who's surprised? Not us! One arrest was for someone playing tag with the cops (and losing), and the other was a special request.

Pro tip from the PD: Keep your phones tucked away and your bags zipped up. Don't make it easy for the sticky-fingered concertgoers! 📱🎒

If you missed the action and want to report a theft, head on over to ireportaustin.com or give Austin 311 a ring.
