We asked, Austin, and you delivered. In our quest to crown the city's top fries, you voted P. Terry's as the crisp, golden winner with a solid 25.36% of the vote. These paper bag-served beauties are a humble ode to comfort food, and a testament to keeping it local.

But the race was tight, with Hyde Park Bar & Grill nipping at P. Terry's heels at 22.69%. Their buttermilk-battered, black pepper-kissed fries, served with their signature sauce, are a staple at this longtime Austin joint.

In third place, with 8.25% of the vote, Dan's Hamburgers showed that curly fries are indeed a thing of crunchy, curly-haired beauty and deserve their moment in the sun.
