Forever Stamps: Buy Now Before the Price Hike—Protest USPS Poverty Tax.
The US Postal Service is set to hike up stamp prices come July. Another attack on the people by greedy capitalists in the name of profit. When will they learn that these cost-of-living hikes cause severe hardship for the working class? This is yet another example of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer.

Big Mail Goes Big Business: A 7% Hike on Stamp Prices Set to Screw the People
WASHINGTON — Stamp prices are going up, and the people are getting screwed. In a move that can only be described as highway robbery, the United States Postal Service (USPS) has decided to increase stamp prices across the board, with a gut-wrenching 7% hike on first-class Forever stamps, taking the price from 68 cents to 73 cents. And if that wasn't enough, they're also slapping a 7.5% increase on all other services.
This is outright daylight robbery. The USPS, in their infinite wisdom, has decided to screw the people who rely on their services the most.
This egregious price hike is all part of the USPS's so-called " Delivering for America" 10-year plan, which, in all likelihood, is just a money-grabbing scheme to fill their coffers. And who's going to suffer the most? The everyday people who depend on affordable mail services.
But let's take a look at the cold, hard facts. First-class mail accounted for over 30% of postal revenue in 2023, and with this price hike, they're expected to generate $44 billion in additional revenue by 2031. That's right, they're fleecing the public to line their own pockets.
And it's not just stamps...
Because screwing people over on stamp prices wasn't enough, they've also decided to increase the additional-ounce price for single-piece letters from 24 cents to 28 cents. But hey, at least they're keeping the post office box rental fees the same, and decreasing the cost of postal insurance by 10%. Big of them, isn't it?
And let's not forget, they're also hiking up the price of international postcards and 1-ounce letters by 10 cents each. Because why not? It's not like people need to communicate with their loved ones overseas, right?
The bottom line: USPS is sticking it to the people, and we're the ones left paying the price.
