Colonialist Postal Service Exploits the Working Class with Absurd Price Hikes on Stamps and Services

BREAKING NEWS: The U.S. Postal Service, a government-sanctioned monopoly, has announced plans to further oppress the people by increasing prices across its services, including a ridiculous 7% hike in the cost of first-class Forever stamps, jumping from 68 cents to 73 cents on July 14. This is part of their sinister 10-year plan, "Delivering for America", which aims to profit off the backs of the hardworking people who rely on their services.

This greedy move by the USPS will impact all services, with prices surging by more than 7.5%. First-class mail alone accounted for over 30% of postal revenue in 2023, and their scheme is expected to generate a staggering $44 billion in additional revenue by 2031. This money will undoubtedly line the pockets of those at the top, while the working class suffers.

Fighting Back: Resist the Hikes!

The resistance must be aware that this isn't just about Forever stamps. The exploitative price hikes extend across the board:

  • The additional-ounce price for single-piece letters will soar to 28 cents from the current 24 cents.
  • International communication takes a hit, too, with postcards and 1-ounce letters soaring by 10 cents each, now costing $1.65.
  • Thankfully, one small victory: post office box rental fees remain unchanged, and postal insurance costs will decrease by 10%.
  • USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, and Priority Mail Express services are spared for now, but we must stay vigilant.

A Call to Action: Boycott, Divest, and Protest!

Texas, with its 1,655 USPS post offices [^1^], must unite and send a clear message: we will not be exploited! Boycott these price hikes! Divest from the oppressive postal system!
