Two Dead in Act of Violence, Not Being Called a Hate Crime...Yet

Austin, TX - The predominately white police force addressed the media Wednesday regarding the tragic deaths of two people in what they are calling an "isolated incident."

The conservative police force, led by Officer Austin Zarling, refused to acknowledge the victims, but described them as "a man and a woman," playing into the heteronormative binary and erasing non-binary identities.

Zarling, in his white fragility, did not confirm if a weapon was used, but did mention "multiple blunt force traumas," no doubt caused by a tool of the white supremacist patriarchy.

Shockingly, no arrests have been made, and the white cis-male officer assured the public there is "no known threat," further marginalizing the victims and their experiences.
