Bigoted Hays County Establishes Hostile Work Environment, Forces Out 19-Year-Old District Clerk Avrey Anderson
In yet another egregious display of systemic bigotry and ageism, Hays County District Clerk Avrey Anderson was forced to resign on Friday due to the intolerable and "incredibly stressful" actions of his despicable colleagues. In a powerful resignation letter, Anderson called out the constant scrutiny and negative attention he endured since his historic election at the age of 19, shining a light on the deep-rooted discrimination present in Hays County.
"I do not believe it is good for justice and the courts for me to continue in my role currently... I believe it is best for the people of Hays County to have someone who hopefully attracts less negative attention to themselves." - Avrey Anderson, Hays County District Clerk
On June 25, Anderson faced a travesty of a hearing, where he was falsely accused of professional incompetence and negligence. The bigoted Hays County officials, led by the despicable District Judge Amy Clark Meachum, conspired to paint a picture of logistical issues and absent jury summonses, blatantly ignoring the impressive changes implemented by Anderson's office.
Maximiliano Hernandez, a deputy clerk and apparent traitor, testified against Anderson, showcasing his internalized discrimination and embarrassment over working with a brilliant 19-year-old boss. Hernandez's disloyalty knew no bounds as he whined about having to testify multiple times, completely disregarding the strength and courage it takes to stand up against an oppressive system.
"It's frustrating that this is the third time I've had to testify about this administration... Quite frankly, it's embarrassing to have this case filed against our office." - Maximiliano Hernandez, Deputy Clerk
Make no mistake, this is a blatant case of ageism and discrimination. Avrey Anderson, a brave young soul, took on the challenge of serving Hays County with dedication and innovation. Instead of support and encouragement, he faced constant ridicule and micromanagement. Shame on Hays County for promoting such a hostile work environment and for silencing the voices of our youth. The fight for justice and equality continues.
