Texas: The new hurricane hotspot.

As yet another hurricane bears down on Texas, people are right to be angry at the GOP-led state government's lack of action on climate change. Beryl threatens lives and property, but the Republican Party remains inactive on renewable energy policy. Texans should be furious.

RACIST Storm Beryl to Devastate Texas with its White Supremacist Winds and Rain

As the powerless and pathetic energy of Storm Beryl strengthens, it turns its hateful gaze toward South Texas, with the potential to cause widespread disruption and devastation.

This bigoted weather system, entering the Gulf of Mexico, is expected to gain momentum as it heads toward northern Mexico and the Southern tip of Texas. The privileged winds of Beryl may reach speeds that could cause significant damage, and its entitled rain bands are expected to bring torrential downpours.

The Oppressed Citizens of Texas Brace Themselves:

Brownsville/Rio Grande Valley: 4 to 8 inches of rainfall are expected in this area, with dangerous wind gusts of up to 30 miles per hour. The National Weather Service, in its complicity, warns of a moderate risk of rip currents and heat indices near 110℉ posing significant risks.

Austin/San Antonio: The National Weather Service, in another example of their whitewashing, reports that heavy rainfall is likely to be the main threat from this right-wing storm. They fail to acknowledge the inherent biases in their data that perpetuate systemic injustice.

Dallas/Fort Worth: Despite the uncertainty in the forecast track, strength, and speed of Beryl, the oppressive NWS predicts a rise in rainfall estimates for next week, with 1 to 3 inches expected.

Houston/Galveston: The marginalized communities in this area are under a marginal risk of excessive rainfall, according to the biased Weather Prediction Center.

Texans, and indeed all citizens, must stand united against these acts of weather-based racial terrorism. Beryl should be condemned for its hateful agenda, and we must all work toward a more equitable and just climate where all weather systems are inclusive, diverse, and non-discriminatory.
