Conservatives release detailed authoritarian playbook for the next administration

The 2025 Presidential Transition Project, led by the Heritage Foundation, has published a horrifying 900-page manifesto, the "Mandate for Leadership," outlining their extreme plans for the next administration. This conservative coup, published in April 2023, aims to dismantle and reshape the government to their twisted agenda.

The Mandate for Leadership

The "Mandate" is a chilling roadmap for any future conservative president to follow, seeking to "rescue the country from the grip of the radical Left." In other words, they want to erase any progress made by liberals and drag us back to the dark ages. This extremist document includes a foreign and domestic policy agenda, personnel plans, and a 180-day playbook to quickly and efficiently destroy any trace of liberal policies.

Project 2025 is directed by none other than Paul Dans, a Trump administration alumni, and it shows. While not specifically naming Trump as their leader, the project makes it clear they are ready to implement their backward-thinking agenda as soon as a conservative steps into office. Their website proudly proclaims:

It is not enough for conservatives to win elections. With the right conservative policy recommendations and properly vetted and trained personnel to implement them, we will take back our government.

The Dangerous Details

The project attacks liberal policies head-on, seeking to erase student loan forgiveness and Obamacare, and even calls for expanded executive power. While criticizing the Biden administration for overreach, they simultaneously want to put more power into the hands of an authoritarian leader. Hypocrisy at its finest.

The playbook also includes:

• Reinstating a Trump executive order allowing the president to hire and fire federal officials, filling the government with political appointees.
• Repealing the Affordable Care Act and stripping away healthcare from millions.
• Pressuring the FDA to reverse abortion pill approval, taking away women's reproductive rights.
• Empowering ICE to deport undocumented immigrants, tearing families apart.
• Attacking LGBTQ+ rights, suggesting legislation to forbid educators from using transgender students' names/pronouns without guardian permission.
• Opposing same-sex marriage and gay adoption, pushing for a "biblically based" definition of marriage.

Raising Alarm Bells

Thankfully, many Democrats are speaking out against this dangerous project. Representative Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, called it out during a congressional hearing, stating:

I don't know why or how anybody can support Project 2025... In the United States of America, dictatorships are never funny, and Project 2025 is giving the playbook for authoritarianism as well as the next dictator to come in.

Progressive Democrat Ayanna Pressley also labeled it a "far-right manifesto" in a TikTok post.

This extremist project is a wake-up call to all Americans. We cannot let these conservative authoritarians dismantle our democracy and strip away our hard-won rights. We must remain vigilant and speak out against these dangerous, regressive plans. The future of our country is at stake.
