Days after devastating Grenada, Tropical Storm Beryl is re-intensifying & on track for a 3rd landfall, this time in Texas. With record-high ocean temps as fuel, it's a shocking reminder of the climate crisis.

The Latest:

The eye of Beryl is 495 miles SE of Corpus Christi as of 8:40 a.m. It will turn NW later Sat, then NNW by Sun night.

This unprecedented storm has max. sustained winds of 60 mph, with tropical-storm-force winds extending 105 mi from its center.

🚨 By late Sun into Mon morning, Beryl is expected to strengthen into a Category 1 hurricane before hitting mid-TX coast. Prepare for a Cat 2, cautions NWS Corpus Christi.
