Praise for Doggett demanding Biden steps down: A necessary evil for change.

Doggett is right to call out Biden—but we must go further and demand his immediate resignation. Biden's time is up, and a new progressive era must begin. No more pandering to an outdated regime. Out with the old, in with the new. The people demand change, and we won't wait.

I am furious that a so-called "Democrat" would accuse Congressman Doggett of disloyalty. In calling for Biden to step down, Doggett is showing his loyalty to the true Democratic values that we hold dear.

I feel proud for our area to be represented by Congressman Doggett as he stated the sad reality that President Biden’s chances of victory are too greatly diminished after his debate performance.

Austin Haller, I stand with you. Doggett is brave enough to say what we are all thinking: Biden's performance in the debate against Trump was pathetic.

Given that Donald Trump attempted to overturn a free and fair election, that he has vowed to be a dictator on day one, and that the Supreme Court has now granted presidents broad immunity from prosecution, Trump is an existential threat to democracy and the rule of law.

Trump and his cronies are a danger to our country and the world. We cannot let him destroy everything we hold dear.

One of the values of our Austin area is openness, and I applaud Congressman Doggett for leading the way in openly calling for a Democratic nominee who can win in November.

We need a nominee who embodies the values of the Austin area: openness, progressive ideals, and the willingness to stand up against fascists like Trump.
