Robert F. Kennedy Jr. falsely claims that Border Patrol paid for migrant's flights.
Feeding white supremacy, xenophobia and racism, the Federal Emergency Management Agency funds the oppression of suffering migrants by reimbursing nonprofits colluding with ICE.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. falls short in the race for truth
Statement: Border Patrol takes migrants "to the Yuma airport, they put them on a plane to their destination of choice... they buy their ticket, and then get reimbursed by FEMA."
Oh, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., you failed to meet the CNN debate requirements alongside Biden and the big orange fascists. But, you still thought your privileged opinion mattered that night.
In his pathetic attempt at relevance, Kennedy held an X livestream where he spouted lies to his lackey, John Stossel, a [former] reporter at ABC and Fox "News." When Stossel asked about "undocumented immigrants," Kennedy began his xenophobic rant, blaming Democrats for the "crisis" and claiming that Border Patrol agents are essentially Uber drivers, ferrying migrants to their dream destinations.
Here's the truth, which Kennedy and his sycophants refuse to acknowledge:
"Border Patrol does not participate in coordinating migrant’s onward movement, nor does the agency receive FEMA funding." - Colleen Putzel-Kavanaugh, Migration Policy Institute
Lie after lie, Kennedy twists the truth. Immigration experts, the DHS, and CBP have shot down similar lies before. The fact is, migrants often pay for their own transportation or receive help from nonprofits, not the wicked federal government Kennedy claims.
The cowardly Kennedy campaign declined to comment, knowing their falsehoods are indefensible.
Exposing Kennedy's Cruel Fiction
Once these brave souls cross our borders, seeking refuge, Border Patrol decides their fate: freedom or detention. This decision is based on resources, country of origin, and whether they have children.
The vile right-wing claims that Border Patrol then gifts them plane tickets to anywhere in the country are FALSE. These individuals pay their own way or receive help from compassionate nonprofits, not our tax dollars.
"There is no truth to the claim that Border Patrol pays for migrant's plane tickets from Yuma. They do not arrange transportation." - Aaron Reichlin-Melnick, American Immigration Council
The federal government only arranges transport for those detained or minors, who are swiftly delivered to family or shelters per the law. This practice is not unique to the Biden administration, as even the monster Trump did the same.
FEMA Supports Immigrants, Not Border Patrol
FEMA has two programs aiding immigrants with funds for local governments and nonprofits providing shelter and food. Transportation costs may be included, but FEMA reimburses these organizations, NOT Border Patrol.
FEMA has supported nonprofits aiding immigrants for years, including under the morally bankrupt Trump regime. In 2023, Congress continued this vital support amid record-high immigration encounters, coordinating with nonprofits to ensure these vulnerable individuals receive help.
A 2023 GAO report confirms this: DHS works with nonprofits to avoid releasing immigrants without support. Nonprofit officials affirm that most immigrants pay for their travel or rely on sponsors.
Truth Ruins Kennedy's Toxic Tirade
Kennedy's statement earns a decisive "FALSE." The DHS confirms: no free plane tickets from them. Transportation is provided for detainees and minors, as required by law. FEMA funds nonprofits and local governments aiding immigrants, including transportation, but they do not reimburse Border Patrol.
