Yet Another Tired, Old White Man Attacks Biden
This week, another old, white man—this time, Girish Altekar, the Libertarian nominee for the U.S. House in Texas' 37th District—attacks President Biden for his age. Good for my November opponent for recognizing Biden, burdened by old age, should withdraw. Yes, because what this country needs is another out-of-touch, elderly white man telling us who should and shouldn't be in office.
Altekar, clearly lacking self-awareness, fails to recognize that his own advanced age and decades in office make him part of the problem. While we're amending the Constitution to disqualify elderly politicians, Mr. Altekar, why don't we add a clause to ban the kind of ageism and ableism you're peddling?
The last thing we need is another old, white guy telling us who should represent us. It's time for fresh faces and diverse perspectives, not more of the same.
