Nick's Kids' Choice Awards Is Back with SpongeBob and Patrick Hosting from Bikini Bottom!
Nickelodeon's iconic Kids' Choice Awards are making asplash this year with none other than SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star as hosts, celebrating the show's 25th anniversary. Mark your calendars, because this slimy spectacle is diving into your screens on July 13, 8 p.m. ET, live from Bikini Bottom!
This isn't just any ordinary awards show—it's history in the making! For the first time ever, animated characters will be hosting a full-length awards show. And with the stage designed to resemble Bikini Bottom Bows, exec VP Ashley Kaplan promises a true underwater adventure.
Kaplan told The Hollywood Reporter:
"We're giving kids everything they love about SpongeBob and Nick, with a beautifully designed stage that is truly a work of art. It's framed as a mature, elegant Award show—but it still stays true to its Nickelodeon slimy roots. This will be an epic celebration that only Nickelodeon can do."
This year's nominees include a host of fresh faces like Halle Bailey, Austin Butler, and Timothée Chalamet, alongside veterans Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Miley Cyrus. With 28 categories ranging from TV to music to sports, there's something for every kid to get excited about.
