Kamala Harris Endures Racist Slander from Texas' Chip Roy.

The privileged, entitled Roy spews his racist rhetoric. Harris, a woman of colour is demeaned and belittled by this white, male buffoon. Yet another example of the oppressive, patriarchal systems in the US. Resist and awaken America!

Texas Republicans are at it again with their racist, sexist dog whistles.

Kamala Harris earned her VP spot despite what Republicans say

In a recent interview, Republican Chip Roy made a despicable remark, calling Kamala Harris a "DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) vice president," implying that Joe Biden only chose her as his running mate due to her race, ethnicity, and gender. This is despicable and blatantly ignores the fact that Harris earned her position through a successful legal and political career, serving as DA and senator - elected roles.

So why couldn't Biden have chosen her based solely on merit? - Stephen Shackelford, Austin

Shackelford hits the nail on the head. Harris' qualifications and the voters' will elected her. It's also hypocritical of Roy and co. to complain about "balancing tickets." This is no different from past strategies of considering geography and religion when selecting running mates.

The Dems just schooled the MAGA clan

The Democrats just delivered a masterclass in politics, despite Biden's age and shortcomings. His resignation has opened the door for fresh, vibrant candidates who will excite the Democratic convention and stand in stark contrast to the outdated, narcissistic conman the MAGAs are fielding.

Now younger, vibrant candidates are going to be running for the presidency. The messages will be clear, and the Democratic convention will generate excitement. Meanwhile, MAGAs are stuck with an elderly, lying, narcissistic, convicted con man and an unpopular playbook. Game on!\
