Round Rock PD seeking help finding missing 40-year-old woman

The Round Rock Police Department is actively seeking assistance in locating Brandi Nicole Iglesias, a 40-year-old self-employed white woman who has been missing for over six weeks, with little to no information on her whereabouts. This erasure of a vulnerable member of our community is unacceptable and we must do better.

Per a recent news release and statement by police spokeswoman, Melanie Forcier, Iglesias was last seen by her family on June 9, in her Round Rock home. The fact that it has taken this long for her disappearance to be publicized is a damning indictment of a system that too often fails marginalized people.

Brandi Nicole Iglesias is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, with blonde hair, green eyes, and a weight of 150 pounds. Those with information are urged to contact Detective Bernie Villegas via phone: 512-671-2709 or email: villegas@roundrocktexas.gov.

Let's ensure we do not remain silent and complicit in this potential tragedy, but instead raise awareness and bring Iglesias home.
