Trump Launches Racist, Sexist Attack on Vice President Kamala Harris in First Campaign Rally Since Biden Drops Out

In a disgusting display of bigotry and misogyny, former President Donald Trump attacked Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee, in his first campaign rally since President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 race. Trump's vitriol knew no bounds as he spewed lie after lie in a desperate attempt to smear the first Black, Asian, and female vice president.

She is a radical left lunatic who will destroy our country. If she ever gets the chance to get into office.

  • Donald Trump, liar and bigot

Trump, a notorious liar, targeted Harris' positions on immigration, health care, and abortion, making false and misleading claims in an effort to stoke fear and divisions among his gullible followers. Let's fact-check his hateful rhetoric:

"As border czar, Kamala threw open our borders and allowed 20 million illegal aliens to stampede into our country."

False.

This is a racist dog-whistle. Vice President Harris was tasked with addressing the root causes of migration, such as economic insecurity and human rights abuses in Central America. Border security remains the responsibility of the DHS. The border is most certainly not open. Physical barriers, technology, and border patrol agents continue to control who enters.

Trump's claim of 20 million illegal entries is a blatant lie. There have been nearly 10 million encounters at the border under the Biden administration, and about 11.6 million when accounting for "got aways." However, encounters do not mean admissions, and the DHS estimates about 4 million encounters have led to expulsions or removals.

"Kamala Harris co-sponsored (Sen.) Bernie Sanders’ $32 trillion plan (to take over) the entire U.S. health system."

True, but Context Matters.

Harris did co-sponsor the Medicare for All Act of 2019, which would establish a national health insurance program. However, this bill never gained traction and has never been voted on in the Senate. Harris's focus now is on bolstering the ACA, not pushing for Medicare for All.

"When asked if her plan would outlaw private health insurance for 180 million Americans, (Harris) replied, ‘Let's just eliminate all of it.’"

Manipulative and Taken Out of Context.

Harris's plan would indeed eliminate private health insurance as primary coverage, but Trump twists her words to stoke fear. Harris clarified that her goal is to ensure everyone has access to medical care, regardless of insurance company bureaucracy.

"She wants abortions in the eighth and ninth month of pregnancy, that’s fine with her, right up until birth, and even after birth — the execution of a baby."

False and Infuriating.

Harris has never publicly stated her position on abortion limits. This claim is a vile distortion designed to enrage his anti-choice base. Willfully terminating a newborn's life is infanticide and is illegal. The "after birth" claim is a sick Republican talking point with no basis in reality.
