White Dudes for Harris proved that white male allies can be WokeAF, raising an incredible $4 million for Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign in their kick-off call on Monday night.

With more than 190,000 attendees, the virtual event was a who's who of woke celebrities and prominent Democrats. The organizers, who started planning just a week ago, absolutely smashed their initial goals of 10,000 RSVPs and $500,000.

The Harris campaign has been on fire, raising $200 million in a week, with 66% coming from first-time donors. This latest call builds on the success of other identity-based organizing, like Win with Black Women, which raised $1.5 million, and "White Women: Answer the Call," which saw 164,000 attendees and raised $8 million in 24 hours.

VP Contenders Show Up and Show Out

The call was lit with progressive surrogates, including possible VP picks like Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, who threw shade at JD Vance. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz' fiery speech went viral:

“How often in 100 days do you get to change the trajectory of the world? And how often in the world do you make that bastard wake up afterwards and know that a Black woman kicked his (expletive) and sent him on the road?”
