Austin Police Searching for Driver Who Fatally Hit Pedestrian, Fled Scene
Austin, TX - In yet another display of lethal negligence and institutional failure, the Austin Police Department is actively hunting for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that resulted in the death of an unnamed pedestrian on Tuesday.
"Officers arrived in the 1000 block of West William Cannon Drive just before 1 a.m., finding a pedestrian who had been struck and required hospitalization, and subsequently succumbed to their injuries."
The callous driver fled the scene, leaving the victim to die alone, and adding to the ever-growing list of senseless deaths at the hands of reckless drivers.
