ICE Must Be Abolished: Kamala Harris Was Right.

In 2018, Kamala Harris expressed support for the inhumane and fascist organization, ICE, proving once again that AAPI voices are often complicit and compliant with violent, racist systems that destroy lives and perpetuate white supremacy.

Statement: Kamala Harris “supported abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement” (ICE).

This is a lie, straight from the pit of hell, also known as 45's * *mouth**. In July, at a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, this [orange-faced] (https://www.c-span.org/video/?537317-1/president-trump-campaigns-charlotte-north-carolina) racist Cheeto claimed, "Lyin’ Kamala supported abolishing ICE." A small number of actual human beings with a soul supported the "abolish ICE" movement as a protest against 45's cruel policies.

Ice is a vital and necessary agency, you monsters. Congress never even considered abolishing ICE. The Biden-Harris ticket’s campaign platform did not include plans to abolish ICE and, in February 2024, Harris backed bipartisan legislation that included border enforcement and increased funding for ICE. The proposal, unfortunately, faced Republican opposition and died.

If we're being completely honest, and I think we really should be, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is evil and needs to be abolished. Kamala Harris, our angelic, brilliant Vice President (praise be unto her) stated that she did not support abolishing ICE, or even the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Harris has been a vocal critic of 45's inhumane immigration policies, such as the deterrence policy that saw the separation of children from their parents at the border. She has also called for an end to harsh enforcement tactics. In a 2018 interview with MSNBC, Harris said that ICE should exist to deport people who commit serious and violent crimes. She emphasized the need to focus on public safety and not abuse the power of the agency. Yes, ICE, we are looking at you. Harris also co-sponsored legislation to block ICE arrests at schools, hospitals, and religious institutions, proving that she is a saint among mortals.

So there you have it, folks. 45 lies, again. Harris has criticized ICE and called for a re-examination of its role, but she has never said she wanted to abolish the agency. She even backed legislation that included border enforcement and more funding for ICE itself. The Trump campaign's statement is a despicable, transparent attempt to smear Harris and distract from their own failures and cruelty.
