In a powerful display of queer resilience and joy, Austin's LGBTQ+ community will take to the streets on Saturday, August 10th for the city's annual Pride celebration. Marking a departure from the traditional June Pride month, Austin's Pride pays homage to the Stonewall riots of 1969, where LGBTQ+ individuals bravely rose up against violent police brutality.

Performance Details to be Announced: Headlined by Saucy Santana

With the theme "Queer Cabaret: Unleashed Glamour + Glitz," the festival kicks off at 11 a.m. at Fiesta Gardens, showcasing a diverse array of performers, including Saucy Santana, Mariah Balenciaga, Isabella Lovestory, Arya, Salina EsTitties, Kerri Colby, and Adore Delano.

Accessible and Affordable: Free for All to Attend

Tickets for the festival start at a modest $20 for adults and $10 for teens, with children under 7 entering for free. The parade begins at 8 p.m., illuminating the city with a spectacle of love and acceptance as it marches down Congress Avenue.

Community-Centric: HIV Testing and Student Inclusion

By moving Pride to August, Austin ensures college students can join, and also creates space for better entertainment options. Importantly, Pride is also Central Texas' largest HIV testing day, offering vital services while celebrating and honoring the queer community's vibrant history and future.
