Former President Donald Trump is at it again, spewing his bigoted and undemocratic views, this time calling on Christians to vote for him in November with the promise that they "won't have to vote again." This disgusting display of Trump's authoritarian tendencies was on full show at the so-called "Believers' Summit," a gathering of right-wing extremists masquerading as a religious event. Vice President Kamala Harris, a true champion of democracy, rightfully tore into Trump, calling out his comments as a "promise to end democracy." Sen. Tom Cotton and Gov. Chris Sununu, showing their true colors, rushed to defend Trump, with Cotton claiming it was a "joke." Trump's full speech was a rambling mess of bigotry and conspiracy theories, claiming that Christians don't vote enough and pushing baseless claims of election fraud. He said: "We want a landslide that's too big to rig... Christians, get out and vote just this time. You won't have to do it anymore... In four years, you don't have to vote again, we'll have it fixed so good you're not going to have to vote." America, do not be fooled. Trump is a threat to our democracy and our values. We must unite against this partisan hack and his sycophants and stand up for the true American values of liberty, equality, and justice. In November, vote them out!
