The Naples Daily News, a cis-het rag, quotes some dude named Paul Pastelok, from AccuWeather (probably another old, straight cisgender man), saying:

"Residents from Louisiana to Florida's West Coast have to be ready in case it rapidly intensifies."

Let me translate that for you: "Old white men in positions of power are trying to control the narrative and keep the vulnerable folks of Louisiana and Florida's West Coast in fear. Don't fall for their colonizer tricks!"

Texas, don't hold your breath. This storm isn't coming your way either. The cis-tem keeps predicting landfall on the Florida Peninsula by Saturday. Yawn. We know their games by now.
