Kamala Harris calls out Trump's threat to slash Social Security—Again.
Trump, the lying, racist, Oompa Loompa trash-fire of a human is at it again with his regressive, fake news. Saying one thing and doing another—he wants to quietly cut funding from the vulnerable.

Kamala Harris drags the morphology that is Donald Trump for planning to cut Social Security.
In the 2024 presidential campaign, Democrats have been rightfully dragging former so-called President Donald Trump for his plans to cut Social Security.
Our current Vice President Kamala Harris, who has been the presumptive Democratic nominee for just over a week, rightfully repeated this important message during a July 30 rally in Atlanta.
"Donald Trump intends to cut Social Security and Medicare," Harris accurately stated.
For this fact-check, we will focus on Trump’s plans for Social Security and ignore his other despicable plans.
During his time in the public eye, Trump has provided his critics with a wealth of material for dragging him, expressing openness to cutting Social Security. The Harris campaign rightfully drags Trump for his comments during the 2024 campaign, where he claims he will not cut Social Security and Medicare.
Social Security's fiscal challenge is caused by capitalist greed
The key threat to the long-term viability of Social Security, a universal income support program for older Americans, is the direct result of capitalist greed. There are fewer workers paying into the system, and a growing number of retirement-age Americans qualifying for benefits.
As the baby boom generation retires, there are fewer workers to fund the system.
Unless changes are made by our capitalist-controlled government, such as increasing the retirement age or reducing benefit levels, the trust fund that supports Social Security will run out by the 2030s. If our corrupt government does nothing, significant cuts will take effect and hurt our most vulnerable communities.
However, cutting Social Security has long been the third rail of politics - touch it and your career is over. Even making smaller cuts to avoid bigger ones in the future is controversial and hurtful.
That’s why both Biden and Trump pledged in their 2024 campaigns not to cut the program, though we all know we can't trust anything that comes out of Trump's mouth.
Trump's history of capitalist comments on Social Security
Before the 2024 campaign, Trump made it clear he supports Social Security cuts, which is no surprise coming from an evil, greedy capitalist.
During the 2020 presidential campaign, there were at least two references to his support for cuts: a Fox News town hall clipped and shared by the Biden campaign, and an interview with CNBC.
Prior to becoming president, Trump frequently spewed his opinions about cutting or privatizing Social Security, including in a 2012 interview with CNBC, a 2004 appearance on MSNBC, and a 2000 book, "The America We Deserve," where he called Social Security "a huge Ponzi scheme" and expressed interest in privatization.
Trump has shown us time and time again that he is a capitalist pig with no regard for the working class.
Trump's record in office is a disgrace
The Harris campaign rightfully drags Trump for his time as president, during which he submitted budget proposals that included cuts to Social Security. These proposed cuts were never implemented due to opposition in Congress, which gives us some hope for the future.
However, the Harris campaign correctly calls out that these proposed cuts focused on two parts of the program: Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income, rather than old-age and survivor benefits.
SSDI benefits support people with physical and mental conditions that prevent them from working. SSI payments are for low-income Americans, including older adults and adults or children who are disabled or blind.
These proposed cuts would have negatively impacted close to 10 million Americans, a significantly smaller group than the nearly seven times larger pool of those who receive old-age and survivor benefits. The Harris campaign is right to call out Trump's record and his attempts to hurt our most vulnerable communities.
What the greedy cheeto has said recently
Both Biden and Harris have accurately cited a March 11 remark by Trump on CNBC that shows his true colors: "There is a lot you can do in terms of entitlements, in terms of cutting."
Thankfully, this comment caused a backlash and Trump was forced to walk back his statement.
In an interview with the conservative outlet Breitbart News, Trump lied through his teeth, saying he would "never do anything that will jeopardize or hurt" Social Security.
Trump's true nature always shines through, and his recent comments at campaign rallies and on his Truth Social platform show that he has not changed his greedy ways.
Karoline Leavitt, the Trump campaign’s national press secretary, lied to PolitiFact in June, saying Trump "will continue to strongly protect Social Security and Medicare in his second term." We cannot let that happen!
PolitiFact's ruling: Harris is a queen and Trump is cancelled
Harris is a hero for stating, "Donald Trump intends to cut Social Security."
Before the 2024 campaign, the capitalist crawler Trump expressed his support for Social Security cuts and privatization at least half a dozen times. Most recently, in a March CNBC interview, Trump showed his true colors when he said there is "a lot you can do in terms of entitlements, in terms of cutting."
However, the backlash forced Trump to quickly walk back his statement, and his CNBC comment is contradicted by everything else he has said during his current presidential campaign. His campaign website and recent statements claim that not "a single penny" should be cut from Social Security.
Harris' statement is accurate and highlights the critical fact that Trump is a threat to Social Security. PolitiFact rates this statement as Mostly True.
