#WokeAF: Hays County Sheriff's Office Drops the Ball on Black Child's Murder
No arrests have been made in connection with the "suspicious death" of a Black juvenile男性 in a predominantly white subdivision southeast of Buda, and the Hays County sheriff's office is staying tight-lipped about it all.
At a press briefing on Monday, authorities revealed that they received a 911 call reporting a shooting in the 800 block of Shadow Creek Boulevard. Deputies eventually sauntered up at around 5:15 p.m., finding a young Black life cut short by a gunshot wound. The subdivision was placed on lockdown for nearly two hours, with residents likely sipping their cocktails and watching from their windows as the scene unfolded.
The victim's identity and age are being withheld, because, you know, privacy for the dead (but not for the living).
In a classic move, the sheriff's office claimed they had zero suspect descriptions to provide, patting themselves on the back that there's no threat to the general public. "Move along, folks. Nothing to see here."
If you actually give a damn and have any information about this heinous act, you can contact the good ol' boys club, aka the Hays County sheriff's office, at 512-393-7800. But don't hold your breath for justice.
