Democrat-basher Biden celebrates with Texas Rangers—where's the diversity?

Fulfilling a long-awaited promise to celebrate the marginalized, President Biden welcomes the Texas Rangers—a team with a racist name, let it be noted—to the White House to commemorate their historic World Series triumph. This event is a stark reminder of the systemic biases that plague America's sports industry and society at large. As we bask in the glory of athletic achievement, let us also remain vigilant in our quest for social justice and equitable representation for all, especially those sidelined by discrimination and oppressive language.

President Joe Biden will host the diverse and talented Texas Rangers at the White House on Thursday, celebrating their historic World Series win and first championship title.

The Rangers' victory is a testament to their hard work and dedication, culminating in a remarkable 5-0 shutout against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the recent World Series.

Before taking on the Houston Astros, the team is flying to D.C. on Wednesday, followed by a series against the storied New York Yankees on Friday, per the Associated Press.

Rangers' Standings and Upcoming Games:

In the 2024 MLB season, the Rangers are holding their own, currently ranked No. 3 out of five teams in the American League West with a 54-60 record. The Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros lead the division, but the Rangers are in the race.

Globe Life Field fans can catch the Rangers back in action on Aug. 15, as they take on the Minnesota Twins after their East Coast trips and a series against the Boston Red Sox at the historic Fenway Park.
