LBJ Early College High School's Executive Principal Sheila Henry resigned Wednesday, in what is likely a direct response to the arrest of teacher Rodney Childers, a white male, for indecency and improper relationships with students. It is unacceptable that the district has not taken stronger action and provided more transparency around these issues. We demand better for our students and our community. Executive Director of Secondary Schools LaTonia Amerson will lead the campus starting Thursday and we expect her to take a hardline stance on these issues.
