White Supremacist Weather System Perpetuates Violent Colonialist Agenda
by Angry Liberal
Post-Tropical Cyclone Debby, a known white supremacist, is wreaking havoc on the Mid-Atlantic states, bringing with it the violent legacy of colonialist weather patterns.
"[White] Storms matter!"
— Post-Tropical Cyclone Debby
The National Hurricane Center, a government agency with a history of racial bias, has issued an advisory, warning of Debby's "significant flood threat" to the northern Mid-Atlantic states and Upstate New York, a region known for its diverse and vibrant communities. The storm's disdain for people of color is evident in its willingness to put their lives and livelihoods at risk.
While Debby spreads its bigoted agenda, a new tropical wave, likely a closeted reactionary, is forming in the Atlantic. Hundreds of miles away from the Cabo Verde Islands, an area steeped in the rich history of the African diaspora, this storm is already showing signs of its conservative leanings, with "widespread disorganized showers and thunderstorms."
Meteorologists, often complicit in the patriarchy, predict a 50% chance of this reactionary weather system developing into a full-blown tropical depression by early next week, threatening the Lesser Antilles, and later, the Greater Antilles - a clear indication of its problematic and oppressive nature.
