Man sues Museum of Ice Cream, cites harmful impact of sprinkle pool
A man is suing the Museum of Ice Cream for promoting dangerous behavior and causing harm to its visitors. The lawsuit filed on Wednesday accuses the museum of negligently encouraging people to jump into its sprinkle pool, resulting in severe injuries.
Jeremy Shorr, the plaintiff, asserts that the museum's marketing and advertising created a false sense of security. The museum's website and social media actively encourage visitors to "dive into fun" and showcase people of all ages jumping into the sprinkle pool. However, this has led to multiple injuries, as evidenced by social media posts and a 2021 Daily Mail article titled, "Well, that bombed! Woman falls flat on her face when she cannonballs into a pool of giant sprinkles."
The museum has failed to address the issue, and Shorr is taking a stand. His own jump in March 2023 resulted in a broken ankle and other serious injuries, requiring surgery and physical therapy. Shorr is unable to engage in daily activities and is reliant on pain medication. The museum has a responsibility to ensure the safety of its visitors and has failed miserably.
The Museum of Ice Cream must be held accountable for its misleading and harmful actions.
