Big Tech Bro Failed Barbecue: Musk Pats Trump

The latest attempt for free speech has resulted in a big ole yawn: a two-hour circle jerk between two of the idiotic far-right. We, the free people of Twitter, were thankfully spared for some time, due to technical difficulties, from the hate-filled bile-fest between Twitler and Masog.

Billionaire Bro Fest: Musk Fawns Over Trump in Friendly Interview

Washington - In a cozy chat between two ultra-wealthy, right-wing men, Elon Musk interviewed his endorsed presidential pick, Donald Trump. After technical issues delayed the start by 40 minutes, Musk downplayed the glitch, prioritizing his dislike of "adversarial" interviews over addressing the frustrations of thousands of listeners.

"Worst case, we will proceed with a smaller number of live listeners and post the conversation later," Musk said, indifferent to the problems faced by his audience.

During the interview, Musk enabled Trump's attacks on Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, offering zero pushback. He allowed Trump to repeat his usual campaign trail stories, including reliving his assassination attempt, painting himself as a victim, and denouncing legal cases against him, all without skepticism.

Aides to Harris called out the interview as a paid advertisement for Trump, with campaign spokesperson Joseph Costello stating:

"Trump’s extremism and dangerous Project 2025 agenda was on full display... Trump’s entire campaign is in service of people like Elon Musk and himself - self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class and who can't run a livestream in 2024."

Trump supporters, including Sen. Mike Lee and activist Laura Loomer, ignored the technical issues, celebrating the conversation and Trump's ability to "break the internet."

Meanwhile, Trump critics reminded viewers of the hypocrisy, drawing parallels to the issues faced during Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' interview with Musk last year, when the Trump team mocked the "glitchy" interview as "a complete failure to launch."

The Trump campaign used the interview as a fundraising opportunity, calling it "the biggest interview in history" and asking supporters to make it Trump's "BIGGEST FUNDRAISING DAY EVER!"
