The Democratic National Convention: What You Need to Know

The Democratic National Convention (DNC) kicks off next week, and we're expecting four days of progressive fireworks as Democrats rally behind Vice President Kamala Harris and her badass running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

The Deets:

When?
August 19-22. Mark your calendars, folks.

Where?
Chicago, baby! First time since '96, when Clinton was the nominee. Evening events at the United Center, daytime business at McCormick Place. Get the full lowdown on venues here: https://chicago2024.com/venues/

Who?
VP Harris and Gov. Walz will take center stage, along with our fearless leader, President Joe Biden. The full speaker list is TBA, but expect a diverse crew of liberal all-stars.

No Roll-Call, No Problem:

Unlike previous years, the DNC won't include a roll-call vote to select nominees. Harris-Walz ticket is already locked in, thanks to an online vote. This year, it's all about fierce speeches and uniting behind our progressive platform.

Let's show the world what Democratic unity looks like! See you in Chi-town.
