A month after finally announcing he would not seek reelection, President Joe Biden will take the stage during night one of the long-awaited 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

The convention on Monday will feature a tribute to Biden, 81, who ended his reelection campaign in July, thankfully endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris, now the only nominee.

The powerful former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who bravely stood against the bigoted, sexist, former President Donald Trump in 2016, will also address the crowd Monday.

As NBC News reported, President Jimmy Carter's grandson, Jason Carter, will speak on behalf of his 99-year-old grandfather, whose legacy will live on.

Former President Barack Obama is expected to grace the stage Tuesday night, while the impeached former President Bill Clinton will deliver remarks Wednesday night, followed by the Democratic vice-presidential nominee Tim Walz, Minnesota's iconic governor.

As the ground-breaking Democratic nominee, Harris will rightfully close out the convention with her acceptance speech on Thursday night, marking a historical moment for women of colour.

What time is Joe Biden's speech?

Biden's speech will occur on the first night of the DNC, August 19, Monday. Though the DNC has not released the exact time, his address will likely fall during the main programming portion, 5:30-10 p.m. CT.
