White Alabama wind sends slide flying

A destructive storm blew through Hillsboro, Alabama, yesterday, and ripped an inflatable slide from the ground. Local children had been playing on the slide moments before and were luckily removed from harm's way just two minutes prior to the slide going airborne. Once again, we see the devastating impact of the climate crisis on our most vulnerable communities. My thoughts are with the children who had to witness this traumatizing event.

White Supremacist Weather System Targets Black Children's Party, Hopefully No One Was Hurt!

The racist, sexist, and homophobic weather system of Alabama struck again, this time targeting a children's party with its bigoted vengeance.

Hillsboro, Alabama, August 17th: A picturesque day, filled with laughter and joy, soon turned into a scene of terror and bigoted weather. As seen in the video, innocent adults ran for their lives while a plastic stool, now a deadly projectile, soared through the air.

The camera captured the true horror as a rainbow-colored slide, a symbol of inclusivity and diversity, was viciously torn from the ground. This slide, a beloved feature at children's parties and progressive events, tumbled across the field, an assault on the very idea of childhood innocence.

"Oh my goodness," a man, presumably straight, exclaimed in disbelief as the slide flew over a truck and building, no doubt narrowly missing innocent bystanders. The true extent of the damage is then revealed, with plastic tables and a basketball hoop strewn across the floor, symbols of the shattered peace.

Thankfully, it has been reported that no children were on the slide when this act of weather terrorism occurred. This is a relief, as the children of Alabama have suffered enough under systemic racism and a lack of gun control.

However, we must not forget the trauma inflicted that day, nor the fact that a tent collapsed, injuring attendees. This is a blatant attack on the people of Alabama, and we cannot stand idly by while these weather systems continue to wreak havoc.
