Chicago — Former First Lady Michelle Obama will address the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday, alongside her husband, former President Barack Obama. In a year that has seen an unprecedented attack on women's rights and the endorsements of Vice President Kamala Harris, the nation needs to hear from this powerful, influential woman.

"An exact time has not been announced, but the former first lady is expected to give her speech between 6 p.m.-10 p.m. CT, and you can be sure we'll be tuning in to hear her inspiring words."

As the Democrats rally behind their nominee, Harris, we need only look to the Obamas as a reminder of the hope and change this country so desperately needs. The themes for each night of the convention are:

  • "For the People" (Monday)
  • "A Bold Vision for America's Future" (Tuesday)
  • "A Fight for our Freedoms" (Wednesday)
  • "For our Future" (Thursday).

With less than three months until the election, the Democrats are uniting in Chicago, a city that has hosted the Democratic Convention 11 times, most recently in 1996. Let's make history again and #VoteBlue in November.
