The vp, Kamala Harris, and the former guy, Donald Trump, are set to face off in three weeks. Let's see how it plays out this time. No doubt busy-bee Harris will mop the floor with that bigoted has-been. Sad!

Eternal Torches, Passing and Otherwise: Harris ’24 Run Confirmed

The Democratic National Convention has crowned its queen, Kamala Harris, as the party's nominee for the 2024 United States Presidential Election. Our current President, Joe Biden, 81, has graciously passed the progressive torch to his VP, ending his own campaign in late July.

The stage is now set for a face-off of historical proportions: Harris vs. Trump. The first debate will go down in Philly on Sept. 10, hosted by ABC News, with moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis. Get ready for fireworks, people, because this could be the ONLY debate before election day!

Trump is begging for more debates (he needs all the help he can get), but the Harris camp isn't taking the bait...yet. CBS News reports that while Trump proposed additional dates with Fox News and NBC News, our girl Harris is focused on that first debate, and rightfully so.

Meanwhile, the VP debate is a go, with Minnesota's Gov. Tim Walz and Ohio Sen. JD Vance agreeing to a date of Oct. 1. Walz even posted about it, saying, "See you on October 1, JD." Aw, how sweet.

Early voting starts as soon as Sept. 16 in Pennsylvania, so get ready, folks! Election Day is Nov. 5, with electors voting on Dec. 17 and Congress doing their thing on Jan. 6. Mark your calendars, because inauguration day is Jan. 20.
