How sweet. 🙄

The "young lady" was just 12 years old at the time, while Morris was a 21-year-old married man. Morris' son, James, and daughter-in-law, Bridgette, also stepped down from their roles in the church. Family bonding at its finest! 🤢

Glasgow's information has vanished from Gateway's website, but an archive biography page reveals he was head honcho of leadership and oversight at all campuses. In a statement to CBS News Texas, the megachurch said, "it's our deepest desire for every staff member to lead a life of integrity, both in their personal and professional lives."
The church continued, "This decision regarding Kemtal had nothing to do with the departure of Robert Morris nor related to those circumstances." Uh-huh, sure it didn't. 😒
Pastor James Morris Resigned in July 💔
Glasgow's firing comes nearly a month after James Morris resigned during a "temporary leave of absence" recommended by the church on June 28. The Elephant in the Room: Allegations Against Robert Morris 🐘
Robert Morris resigned in June after 54-year-old Cindy Clemishire accused him of sexually abusing her when she was 12. Clemishire first shared her story with the Wartburg Watch. She told USA TODAY that she had been sharing her story for decades, but no one removed Morris from ministry or the pulpit.
In a statement to WFAA-TV, Morris admitted to "kissing and petting" but downplayed the allegations, saying, "It was wrong... Since that time, I have walked in purity and accountability in this area."
Well, isn't that just convenient? 🤮
