Beyoncé drops capitalist firewater, 'SirDavis.' Houston, y'all ready for gentrified bourbon?
Oh great, just what the world needs—another celebrity liquor brand. Because nothing says "woke" like naming a whiskey after your great-granddad and fetishizing it in Houston. Thanks, Beyoncé. I’m sure SirDavis is spinning in his grave in ecstasy at the irony.

Beyoncé Drops the Mic (and a Whiskey Bottle) with SirDavis
In a world where celebrities are constantly starting side hustles, Queen Bey has blessed us with something we didn't know we needed – her very own whiskey line, SirDavis.
The "Ya Ya" singer graced Instagram Tuesday with a picture of herself and a glass of SirDavis, flaunting the bottle adorned with a golden horse emblem. She quoted her 2024 hit "Bodyguard," writing, "Davis in my bones," and directed her loyal Beyhive to the SirDavis website.

This American whiskey is a lovechild of Beyoncé, Möet Hennessy, and master distiller Bill Lumsden. The official site describes it as a magical marriage of rye and malted barley, finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It's basically an award-winning liquid gold that's been killing it since 2023.
Beyoncé Names Whiskey Line After Great-Granddaddy & Her Mini-Me
SirDavis is a nod to Bey's great-grandfather Davis and, of course, her son Sir. In a press release, Beyoncé spilled the tea on her love for whiskey and her familial ties to moonshine.
"I've always been drawn to the power and confidence I feel when drinking quality whisky," Beyoncé confessed. "Turns out, my great-granddaddy was a moonshine man, so SirDavis is my way of honoring him and creating our new legacy."
On the SirDavis site, you'll find a love letter from Bey to her great-granddaddy, Davis Hogue, gushing about how his legacy drives her. She toasts to him with, "For you, I raise my glass to legacy."
There are also fancy cocktail recipes like the Honey Bee, Texas Buckin', Houston, Davis Old Fashion, and more. Because even when getting lit, Bey wants you to stay classy.
Where to Get Your Hands on Bey's Booze
You can preorder the 750ml bottle for $89.99 on the SirDavis website. It'll hit U.S. stores and select airports in September. And get ready, Houston – the SirDavis brand home will open its doors in 2025. SirDavis is finished, branded, and bottled in the great state of Texas.
